Adenauer Lecture with Dr. Peter Frey, ZDF

The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski "and the Media Programme South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organise a lecture on the topic of “Digital change in television and the special responsibility of public service broadcasting”.

Details

Dr. Peter Frey has been editor-in-chief of the Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF) in Mainz for many years. Before that, he headed the ZDF capital city studio in Berlin. In Germany he is known for moderating numerous political television programmes. In his lecture, Dr. Frey will address the particular challenges of digital change in television and will also highlight the social responsibility of public broadcasting.

According to the current plans, the lecture will take place at the university and will be broadcasted at the same time via zoom.

The Adenauer Lecture is organised once per semester by the KAS Media Programme South East Europe in cooperation with the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication of the Sofia University, featuring leading journalists from Germany, that talk about current challenges in the media sector.
