This year’s seminar will take place parallel to the spring session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna. In this way, the journalists coming from at least five Balkan countries will not only broaden their professional knowledge about NATO and security policy, but in their capacity as media representatives, they will also have the chance to directly cover the high-level NATO session. The aim of this educational event will be to improve the quality of the media coverage of NATO and security issues. The regional exchange of experiences and the networking among journalists in the region will also be encouraged. Cooperation partner is the Media Development Center (MDC, Sofia).
