The KAS Media Programme South East Europe presents at the University of Sarajevo the handbook "ABC of Journalism" by Claudia Mast. The well-known German textbook contributes to the professionalisation of the line of work in the media competition and introduces - beyond the classical media - also new fields of activity for journalists in public relations or in media management. The journalistic working techniques of research, editing and presentation are presented in a compact and comprehensible form and the requirements for multimedia work are outlined.

The presentation will be followed by a lecture on the topic of "Digital Change in Broadcasting and the Unique Responsibility of Public Service Broadcasters" by Dr. Peter Frey, former Editor-in-Chief of the Second German Television (ZDF).
