Premiere: "Adenauer Lecture" at the University of Sofia - Media Programme Southeast Europe
Stephan Detjen talked about the current media situation in Germany and the challenges for journalists in this context. As a leading expert, Detjen also addressed the current German political situation. With this event, the Media Programme has launched the new series "Adenauer Lecture" in cooperation with the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at the Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski“. In the future, once a semester a leading German journalist or media expert will inform about journalism, media and media policy in Germany. The lecture was opened by the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Vesselina Valkanova and by the Head of the Media Programme South East Europe Hendrik Sittig. "You, dear students, are the future of the media landscape in your country, and we very glad, when we can support you on your journey and for your education," he said. In next year the KAS Media Programme South East Europe is going to further strengthen the cooperation with the journalism departments.
