KAS, in partnership with Uhili Necessity Wellness Trust is hosting a multi-stakeholder roundtable discussion scheduled in Swakopmund from 11 to 12 October 2021 with more than 15 identified persons from the policing and private sector as well as correctional services, key government agencies and ministries, social workers, life skills teachers and finally law makers. The purpose is to holistically address and better understand gender-based violence as well as key issues and challenges in the indigenous context and how the response attitude in Namibia to date is impacting the future safety of victims.
