The 4 day workshop brought awareness to women in the project region so that they are informed about their rights, the context of traditional and codified law and the possible means of legal redress and begin to demand these rights.
The workshop further, informed Traditional Authorities to increasingly take codified law into consiedration when arbitrating land questions of land use and land ownership.
On the 22nd and the 23rd, The Namibian Broadcasting Corperation (Radio) came to interview and report live about the workshop and what the participants had learned during the 4 days.
