How do I perform my duties responsibly? Which rights and duties do I have in the process of passing a bill? Which special challenges does the supervision of the budget of my state pose? How do I contact my electorate? These and other questions are highly relevant for the recently elected members of the Parliament of Cross River State.

KAS invites the whole newly elected House to a retreat, in which these questions and other topics will be treated in presentations and group work.

This is the continuation of the policy advice for Parliaments by KAS in the legislative period 2011-2015, which started in Ogun and Lagos states. In June, the Plateau State Parliament will follow.
