The book consists of three parts. The first part of the book that addresses the topic

of “politics” consists of two chapters, where the first titled: “Introductory and theoretical questions” analyzes the key ideas, processes and categorizations, ideas such as politics and government, within which frames the features of a legislative, executive and judicial power are elaborated, and then, based on the presented, there is a review of the key systems of organization of the state power, i.e. the Parliamentary, the Presidential, the mixed and the Assembly system. This theoretical foundation, in the second chapter of this first part of the book titled: “Political aspects in the Republic of Macedonia” gains a practical dimension in its two chapters: the first, which provides an analysis of the system of organizing the state power in the Republic of Macedonia, and the second chapter, which provides a review of the specific constitutional and legal aspects of the party system in our state.

In this way, these two chapters from the first part determine the key pillars, which support this broad topic, which, in addition, is supplemented by the information presented in the second part, dealing with the issue of the key “weapon” of contemporary politics – rhetoric.

The second part of the book is dedicated to the rhetoric, and it comprises of six additional chapters. Thus, in the first chapter titled: “The concept of rhetoric” provides a general review of the follow questions: where does rhetoric originate from, how is it defined, what is the rhetoric’s goal, and what cannot be classified as rhetoric. In the next chapter, titled “Types of rhetoric” there is a logical transition towards the division of speeches, i.e. rhetoric based on the following parameters: the contents of the speech, the way of preparation, based on the auditorium and based on the technique. In the following chapter titled “The significance of rhetoric” there is an attempt to present the clear reasons why rhetoric is important, particularly when it comes to political studies and practices, its relation with ethics and the most important functions of rhetoric. Finally, the fourth chapter is dedicated to the rhetoric in our modern times and its relation with the so-called old rhetoric. Furthermore, the fifth chapter of the book is dedicated to the “special rhetoric” which joins theory with practice. It elaborates the basic elements of practical rhetoric: the speaker, the audience and the speech, as the “holy trinity” of rhetoric. There is an attempt to demonstrate a model of organizational division of the speech with a special focus on the speech’s styles. In the end, the special, sixth chapter is dedicated to the bridge shown in the title of this book: political rhetoric. In line with the logic from the previous chapter, the political rhetoric is elaborated through the model: speaker, auditorium, and speech.

In the end, based on the presented information in the first and the second part of the book, final conclusions are included.
