In this publication, written by Rade Rade Rajkovcevski,who holds a PhD in security studies and is a Senior Teaching Assistant in the Department of Police Sciences at the Faculty of Security in Skopje (University of Bitola), the politics of internal security, the defence security policy and the foreign security policy are considered as key elements that should be incorporated into the mechanisms for prevention of interethnic conflict, also as they serve to resolve political crises related to national interests and to address the security implications of the blocked Euro-Atlantic integrations.
