Strengthening the capacities of the local self-government

The three-day training will focus on capacity building of the elected mayors from VMRO-DPMNE in better quality sustainable management of the municipalities in the country, in order to create modern municipalities.

Experts from Germany, as well as domestic experts involved in the training will address topics related to the creation of adequate economic and social policies that guarantee sustainable local development, economic progress and investment attraction, as well as topics related to the environment and of modern digital strategies.

The training will be opened by Daniel Braun, Official representative of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

David McAllister, Vice President of the European People's Party (EPP); Hristijan Mickoski, President of VMRO-DPMNE; Borche Jovcheski, Mayor of the municipality of Prilep; Zoran Stavreski, former Minister of finance as well as Stefan Andonovski, Head of PIAC "Ljubisa Georgievski" will also have their addresses at the opening of the event.

The event will be organized in accordance with all security protocols for protection against coronavirus.
