The elections to the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) on January 15th 2006 revived great interest in the international community. The results of the elections lead to a Hamas-led government, the first elected government and parliament of the Palestinian Authority (PA) since the Oslo Accords in 1993 and 1995.
