Three new Brochures of the Nazaha-Project Released

The Nazaha-project aims at improving and strengthening of good governance in the NGO-sector in the Palestinian Territories. The project is implemented jointly by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and its Palestinian partner AMAN (Coalition for Accountability and Integrity).Three brochures were recently released within the framework of this project. They primarily address NGOs in order to provide them with information about targets, strategies and guidance to help combating corruption and bribery.

The brochure “Strategies for the Combat against Corruption and Bribery” informs the reader about dangers and damage for the civil society resulting from a lack of transparency and accountability. Furthermore, it contains detailed information on the causes of corruption and bribery and possible strategies to fight them.

The second brochure elucidates the reader about the role of civil society and civil organisations, as well as about the character of relations between civil society and the government concerning an efficient engagement against corruption and bribery.

“Combat against Corruption and Bribery in the Arab World as Precondition for Human Development” is the title of the third brochure, which focuses on the meaning of the combat against corruption and bribery in order to establish long term peace, human rights and justice in the Arab world.
