Expert conference
Details
The aim of the conference is to provide an overview of the current situation regarding the proficiency level civil servants in local government units in Palestine and recommend concrete measures to improve the situation. The central issue is the type of education and training required to equip the employees with the basic knowledge, skills and expertise that will enable them to provide the public services in the most efficient and effective ways possible. The conference will be action-oriented meaning that the recommendations presented by the panelists and the results of group discussions will be presented to the key players in the ministries, local government units, as well as to the donor countries which assist local councils in Palestine.
