The reception was attended by more than 200 guests – among them several high-ranking diplomats, five former ministers and important representatives of our partner organizations – who enjoyed the evening in a pleasant atmosphere.

Mr. Bosbach was introduced by Mr. Thomas Birringer, the Resident Representative of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in the Palestinian Autonomous Territories.

In his greeting words, Mr. Birringer underlined that the work of KAS in 10 years can hardly be expressed in numbers. Especially the growing circle of partners and friends cannot be measured and appreciated enough, as he emphasized.

Mr. Bosbach tackled many issues in his speech, yet living in peace was the main subject of his remarks. He believes that “every one of us wants to send his child to bed safely, every mother wants that, regardless of our origins, our believes or our ethnic group”.
