KABLALAN Peace Monitor - April 2008

The KABLALAN Peace Monitor, a monthly newsletter publication of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Coordinating Committees on the Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH) under the leadership of the International Monitoring Team (IMT), was launched in 2006. The newsletter aims to inform local communities on various peace-building activities and efforts in Mindanao, as well as monitors the progress in the on-going peace process. KABLALAN has been supported by KAS and the Institute for Autonomy and Governance (IAG) in Cotabato City since its launching.

The publication also aims in making the important work of the IMT known to the public and transparent, as well as assist in strengthening the communication between the GRP, the MILF, and other actors and stakeholders in the peace process.
