The "Partnership for Democratic Local Governance in Southeast-Asia" (DELGOSEA) will hold its meeting with the theme, "Good Practices on Solid Waste Management in Southeast Asia", in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.
Philippine Ocean Governance
The policy workshop aims to gather all major policy actors and stakeholders to discuss the policy implications of various issues and problems surrounding the competing claims in the West Philippine Sea. The workshop will give a panoramic view of how the current implementation of the law is perceived to function and the desired end point, as well as the different perspectives and interests of relevant stakeholders, and possible proposals for reforms on relevant policies.
On 11-12 July, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines and the Institute for Autonomy and Governance will be holding a conference in Davao City titled, "Kusog Mindanaw".

The Local Government Integrity Circles Network and the League of Provinces of the Philippines hosted the First National Ease of Doing Business Forum at the Diamond Hotel along Roxas Boulevard, Manila. Ms. Stephanie Carette, Program Manager for the European Union Delegation in the Philippines and Hon. Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr., the National President of LPP and Governor of the Province of Marinduque welcomed 102 delegates from various local government units, civil society organizations, the business sector, and national government agencies.
