Foreign Relations in Action - The Science and Art of Diplomacy

The science and art of diplomacy, though mainly practiced in international relations, can be applied in one's professional dealings. Considering the various backgrounds of the Adenauer young fellows, learning and applying diplomacy will be crucial as they discuss issues and solutions within their groups, organizations, and communities.

For this session, Mr. Julio Amador III, CEO and Founder of Amador Research Services, will deliver a lecture on "The Essential Diplomatic Tenets, Values, Approaches, and Strategies of Diplomacy." Ms. Laura Oexle, Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy in the Philippines, will also give her insights on different and timely contexts and situations affecting the international community.
