Philippine and German Perspectives

In our discussion “Philippine and German Perspectives on Geopolitical Developments in the Indo-Pacific,” we will focus on the Philippines’ perspective on recent developments in the Asia-Pacific region. Especially, we would like to explore if German and European policies towards the Indo-Pacific are successful in facilitating deeper cooperation between Germany and the Philippines.

The format will be a moderated panel discussion with a select audience dedicated to the Asia-Pacific region and foreign and security policy. The goal is a candid exchange with all participants under Chatham house rules.

This event will take place on Monday, 20th of February 2023, at 11 AM (CET) at KAS Academy (Tiergartenstr. 35, Berlin) and will be held in English.

We kindly ask you to RSVP by Wednesday, February 15 via email to isabel.weininger@kas.de and maximilian.roemer@kas.de.
