The "Partnerships for Integrity and Jobs" (Project I4J), co-funded by the European Union under the Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development Program, has started to be implemented since January 2014 in 9 pilot local government units (LGUs) in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Among the pilot areas are the province of Mindoro Oriental, the city of Cagayan de Oro, and the Iranun development cluster, which includes the municipalities of Barira, Budlon, Matanog, and Parang in Maguindanao.
The project focuses on the pilot development of integrity mechanisms and models of transparent and effective small business and investment registration and promotion procedures at selected LGUs, in cooperation with civil society and decisionmakers at these LGUs.
