The off-the-record meeting that took place less than two weeks after the Berlin Conference on Libya allowed for a conversation on the results of the conference, how Libyan stakeholders react to what has been agreed upon in Berlin and what its chances of success are. The workshop was preceded by bilateral meetings with representatives of German political institutions. Among others, HE Dr. Mahmoud Gebril, former Prime Minister of Libya, Dr. Christian Buck, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the German Foreign Office, and MP Roderich Kiesewetter, Member of the German Bundestag and Representative of Foreign Affairs of the CDU/CSU-Caucus, joined the conversation.
