KAS, IRENA, MASDAR Institute of Science and INSEAD organize Policy Breafast

Mr.Dolf Gielen,Director of the IRENA Innovation and Technology Center, Bonn, will talk about government policies on philantrophic initiatives that help to stipulate Clean-Tech industries. There will be a expert panel discussion after the discussion.


The Breakfast seminar will start with a presentation by Mr. Gielen, followed by an expert panel discussion and an open Q&A session.

Kas has invited Dr. Nikolaus Supersberger

is Senior Business Developer Energy at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH - International Services (GIZ IS), to participate in the panel. His regional focus is the Middle East and North Africa, with a special emphasis on fossil-fuel-rich countries. The realisation of synergies between renewable energies and energy efficiency has been a guiding principle during his professional career. His special expertise lies in the development of national frameworks for the introduction of renewable energies and energy efficiency and in energy system analysis from macro-economic perspective. Before joining GIZ IS, he worked at the German think tank Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy as a project manager. Nikolaus Supersberger holds degrees in biology (Dipl.), in environmental technology (MSc.) and political sciences (Dr. rer. pol.). He contributed to various books and published in scientific journals.
