Details
Yet, despite the unmistakably strong desire for a clear-cut break with the practices of the past, the shape of the new socio-political order in the New Middle East remains unclear.
The KAS Regional Program Gulf States, together with INSEAD Abu Dhabi, is organizing a panel discussion on “The Economic and Financial Prospects of the Arab Awakening – A Year On”.
The speakers will discuss the economic impact of the Arab Spring one year later, as well as the most urgent steps governments of the region need to take.
H.E. Raed H. Charafeddine, the First Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, will deliver a keynote speech, followed by a panel discussion with three experts from the UAE.
The event is held within the framework of a series of morning debates called “INSEAD Policy Breakfast”, dealing with current policy issues that shall be viewed through the eyes of academics and practitioners in industry and government.
