Following the 1st Think Tank Development Dialogue held in July 2011, KAS-Regional-Program Gulf-States and Tawasul jointly invite to a Steering Committee Meeting at which goals and guidelines for the follow-up conference in 2012 will be formulated.

In July 2011, numerous representatives from NGOs and government organizations came together to debate the role of Think Tanks in the Gulf region. The participants discussed chances and means for research and political institutions to cooperate more closely.
