This symposium with two experts each from France and Germany (Prof. J.-P. Cahn, Dr. A.-M. LeGloannec, Dr. Carole Maigne, Dr. Ronald Perlwitz, Prof. A. Rödder, Prof. A. Kimmel) will highlight the various issues related to the German Reunification, e.g. the challenges for the french-german relations, the outcome for Europe and it’s global impact that put an end to the Cold War. In addtion it will present an arab view on the events and the international repercussions by Zaki Nusseibi.
