After a dizzying period of campaigning, political mudslinging, court cases and eventually allegations of impropriety, the 2019 National and Provincial Elections has finally come to an end. As the dust continues to settle, and the entire country eases back into normalcy – with a hope that it won’t be much of the same – the Democracy Development Program invites you to help us unpack the process and its aftermath.
Aside from hearing from ordinary citizens and civil society, we hope to hear, the journey of the IEC in bringing together the General Elections, and what it’s preliminary lessons are in respect of this. The DDP, and its partners will also present it’s Domestic Observer Mission Report, which will help guide the discussion on the day.
Please join us for this engagement – Seats are limited – Please see information below to reserve your space.
