South Africa Israel Forum (SAIF) and KAS invites you to a talk on Dangerous Aid-Humanitarians in Hostile Spaces by Gal Lusky. Gal is an Ashoka Fellow, she works for Israel Flying Aid that brings humanitarian aid into war zones, even in places which are officially at war with Israel. The aim of the talk is to expand our understanding of the issues of humanitarian aid, refugees and geo-politics.

Anti-Xenophobia Seminar

The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the South African Council of Churches invite interested stakeholders to the Anti-Xenophobia seminar. The aim of the seminar is to promote social cohesion by reflecting on xenophobia attacks, discuss the possible causes of the attacks and devising solutions to prevent future attacks. The seminar also aims to strengthen conflict resolution skills of community leaders and improve liaison with the government and other agencies on the provision of relief during attacks.
