Following an invitation of KAS and CETA, on January 23rd 2012 Civic Education teachers will meet on Zanzibar for a workshop on the current constitutional reform process.

Details

The workshop will be focussing on the question of how the topic can be integrated into the curriculum of Tanzanian secondary schools and how teachers can contribute meaningfully. Presentations will be held by legal experts from Zanzibar. Also the Zanzibari point of view will be considered.

The NGO Civic Education Teachers' Association (CETA) was founded in 2003 and functions as a platform for exchange among teachers. Further, together with its partner KAS Tanzania, it organises workshops and symposiums for teachers and students from different secondary schools in Tanzania in order to develop teaching materials on relevant current issues.
