How to apply?

In order to apply for the 2nd EFFL Summer Academy applicants have to fill out the registration form (available on request or visit and send it together with




  • a brief letter of motivation
  • as well as a résumé
to Ms Nikola Bock, conference manager at Lexxion

( by 9 April 2010.

Alberto Alemanno, the academic director of the EFFL Summer

Academy, will then – in consultation with the EFFL managing

editors and the editorial board members – select the candidates for the academy.

The maximum number of admitted participants is 25, allowing a manageable classroom experience and fruitful exchanges.


Fees and Expenses

Participation Fee € 1.980,- (VAT added if applicable)

The participation fee includes the academy material, coffee, tea and soft drinks during the morning and afternoon breaks as well as lunch (Drinks for lunch not included).
