The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in collaboration with the Rassemblement De Dirigeant et Chefs d’entreprises Libanais (RDCL), conducted a hybrid roundtable discussion, held both in-person and via Zoom to further examine the Good Bank - Bad Bank restructuring methodology as an approach to mitigate the Lebanese banking crisis.

Michael Bauer, Director of KAS Lebanon, and Nicolas Boukhater, President of RDCL, kicked-off the session which was moderated by Mr. Jean Tawile.

Mr. Adel Afiouni, former minister of state and investment banker, presented the concept and elaborated on the prospects and challenges of applying the Good Bank - Bad Bank restructuring methodology to the Lebanese context.
