On 4 November 2025, the 9th KAS–CSIS German–Indonesian Strategic Dialogue was held in Jakarta under the theme “Trade and Competitiveness in a Changing Global Landscape: Building a Stronger Economic Partnership Between Europe and Indonesia.” The event highlighted the conclusion of the Indonesia–EU CEPA negotiations and reaffirmed the strategic importance of EU–Indonesia relations in times of global economic transformation.

The main focus of the presentation and discussion is “Maritime Security“.
