AIM President and Dean Jikyeong Kang set the tone of the event by delivering the opening remarks. Dr. Kang discussed the desired outcome of the forum – igniting conversation on education and human capital development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Dr. Kang emphasized, among many recommendations, innovation and training to prepare the future workforce.
KAS Partners Meeting
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Philippines Office ends February with a KAS Partners' workshop on federalism. This served as a venue for partners to present and discuss with one another their current projects on federalism. It also paved the way for KAS to bring closer cooperation and project collaboration among their partners.
Breakfast Meeting with the Cardinal for World Interfaith Harmony Week
On its 8th year, the theme of the Breakfast Meeting with the Cardinal was celebrating truth, sincerity, and forgiveness. Attended by the diplomatic corps, institutions from many religious denominations, and other institutions, the meeting began with a Welcome Address from the Minister of Ecumenical and Inter-Faith Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila, Rev. Fr. Carlos V. Reyes.

The Social Weather Stations (SWS) Survey Review captures the sentiments of Filipinos, covering a variety of topics: politics, economics, religion, international relations, etc. Organized by the Asian Institute of Management Rizalino S. Navarro Policy Center for Competitiveness and supported by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Philippines, the SWS, led by its President Dr. Mahar Mangahas, presented their survey results from 2018.
