As part of its objectives to empower women and youth, the regional program Gulf States of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung sponsored on July 9, 2019, the pitch night of the German-Saudi Startup Competition in Jeddah, which was organized by the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO).
The idea:
Saudi startups in the field of health care and five Saudi Startups in the field of Internet of Things present their startup projects. A jury then select the two winners, who are rewarded by giving them opportunity to participate in a startup tour to Germany at the end of September 2019, where they will get to know the German startup ecosystem.
