About KAS Cambodia
We are a German political foundation working in Cambodia since 1994 in a number of
fields including the rule of law, environmental protection, media and journalism, youth
empowerment, international relations and digitalization. Most importantly, We are very
passionate about providing a platform for a respectful political dialogue on Cambodia’s
future.
Job description
KAS is developing tailored and targeted programs for various partners, ranging from
high-ranking state officials to young talented students. To deliver the highest project
quality, creativity, and deep knowledge, especially about the development of
digitalization and sustainability in Cambodia, exceptional management skills and soft
skills are needed. Project managers at KAS work highly independently in a dynamic
environment.
You will be responsible for all KAS projects in the fields of digitalization and
sustainability. KAS projects comprise a broad portfolio of activities from training, digital
and analog conferences, roundtables, network activities, studies to other forms of social
media and print publications.
● Developing, planning, organizing and evaluating project activities
● Project-related administrative and financial tasks
● Coordinating networks and partnerships in Cambodia and Southeast Asia
● Moderation of workshops, conferences and seminars
● Writing, managing and editing articles as well as book projects
Requirements
● Master degree or at least 3-5 years working experience, ideally in the field of digitalization and/or sustainability
● Excellent proficiency in English (working language). Knowledge of the German or Khmer language is a plus but not a necessity
● Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); web and media design skills
● Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure and challenging work
● Experience in working for an international organization
● Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
