Kambodschas Parlament feiert den Tag der Demokratie

Zum zweiten Mal feiert das kambodschanische Parlament den internationalen Tag der Demokratie. Die Veranstaltung ist eine Kooperation zwischen der Nationalversammlung, der Interparliamentary Union (IPU), UNDP und der KAS.

The topics to be discussed range from the importance of democracy and its challenges today, the culture of pluralism and tolerance in Asia, the role of Parliaments in strengthening democracy and the inclusiveness in decision making. To this event, Parliamentarians from neighboring countries are invited to share opinions and experiences linked to the topics. Various Ambassadors present in Cambodia will host the panel discussion, giving likewise input on their experiences regarding democracy in Cambodia.
