Central to the work of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Regional Program Political Dialogue and Regional Integration South Mediterranean (PolDiMed) and the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies (MEDAC), Malta, is the emphasis on education and cross-cultural exchange. In this respect, on June 14th, 2022, KAS and MEDAC are jointly organizing the first Alumni Circle—a conference designed to connect KAS-MEDAC scholars and alumni together with decision makers and experts from both shores of the Mediterranean to stimulate dialogue on the key prospects pertaining to the Euro-Mediterranean relations amid rapid and unprecedented multi-faceted developments facing the region. The event is also a great opportunity for the different KAS-MEDAC cohorts to enlarge their network, exchange information and experiences, and indulge themselves in rich discussions spanning topics and generations of a culturally diverse region.

The event is held under the theme: “Horizons of Stronger EU-Mediterranean Relations”, and will explore the potential prospects of EU-Mediterranean relations with a special focus on economic development.
