The event took place in the framework of the "Eastern Partnership Plus" project funded by the German Foreign Office and was organized in cooperation with the Centre for Liberal Modernity ( LibMod - Zentrum Liberale Moderne ).

In the first round of the event, experts from the countries of the “Associated Trio” presented concrete recommendations for reforms, in particular in the field of rule of law. The second panel was dedicated to political narratives, where inputs were provided by Giorgi Khelashvili, Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs in the Georgian Parliament, Andrius Kubilius, Chairman of the Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in the European Parliament, Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs in the Bundestag, and Michael Vorländer, EU-Policy Adviser of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag.

The key questions that were addressed in the lively discussions were the following: What are the next steps of the EU integration process for Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine? What are the main tasks that need to be addressed in the three countries, and what instruments do the European Commission and Germany have to support the integration process?
