Details
The two-year project entitled “Strengthening Local Governance for Local Economic Growth in Vietnamese Cities” which is funded by the EU and KAS from July 2013 is going to its end. The project managers are trying to decide which city will win the competition on City of Good Local Economic Development and Livability. A judgement board comprising officials of the Association of Cities of Vietnam (ACVN) and local authorities will visit three cities of Hai Duong, Hue and Tay Ninh in April and May to evaluate their efforts in improving in public administration to boost local economy. The outcome of the judgement will not be revealed until late June 2015.
