KAS Australia and the Pacific and Dialogue Fiji are pleased to co-host two-day Workshops on 'Youth and Democracy in the Pacific Region'. Scheduled to be held on 22/23 June 2026 in Nadi/Fiji, the Workshops will provide politically motivated or already active young people from all three subregions of the Pacific Region with the opportunity to learn from the expert about democracy, to exchange views and best practices with their peers, and to build a network for future cooperation.
Dr Wilhelm Hofmeister, the expert from the University of Duesseldorf, is also scheduled to give a public lecture on 25 June 2026 at the National University of Samoa in Apia on 'Global Shifts and Democratic Governance: European Perspectives and Concerns'.
