The proposed workshop aims to discuss the effect of the 'Russian factor' on cross-party cooperation and formation of a common political agenda, focusing on the following key questions.

How the security threat is emanating from Russia consisting of its disruptive, overt and covert actions and massive anti-western propaganda campaigns is actually influencing party politics at the European and national level? How should the EPP deal with these complex and unwelcome developments if it appears virtually impossible to form a common ground vis-à-vis Russia within its own ranks?
