On 1 March 2017, the European Commission presented the White Paper on the future of Eu-rope, which offers five scenarios for the Union's future, while also setting out possible paths and choices. The White Paper inspired a complex debate that is still ongoing. Although many Member States have different views and opinions on the future of Europe, a compromise should be reached by the time of the European Parliamentary elections in June 2019 to express unity. During our panel discussion, in addition to the opinions and the perspectives of the European Commission and the European Parliament, the V4 countries will also introduce their points of view.
