From July 14 to 19, 2025, the Olympia Summer Academy once again took place in the inspiring setting of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi. As in previous years, the Academy brought together young scholars from various countries to engage intensively with current political and international issues.
The participants experienced a demanding program featuring intensive courses, stimulating discussions, and numerous opportunities for international networking. The combination of academic exchange and intercultural encounters made the event a unique experience.
The project aimed to provide a deepened understanding of geopolitical risks and global power shifts. Participants were empowered to make well-informed decisions in complex international contexts. Through working with theoretical concepts, practice-oriented case studies, and concrete analytical tools, they learned to identify, assess, and manage political risk factors such as instability, sanctions, or social unrest in different regional contexts.
KAS Greece/Cyprus once again supported this project this year by providing scholarships for 10 participants from Greece and Cyprus.
The Olympia Summer Academy 2025 was once again a great success and a striking example of how academic exchange and international cooperation can prepare young people for global challenges.
