The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Greece alongside with the Centre of International and European Economic Law and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation organize a workshop aiming at analyzing the legal frame on the collection and processing of personal data, in light of the implementation in May 2018 of the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. This new piece of the Union's law will serve a twofold target: On one hand the reassurement of the right of the individual to their private life and on the other hand the reduction of costs for the relevant enterprises. Leading legal experts from Greece and abroad will analyse important aspects of the topic and will discuss upon fundamental question. The event will take place in Greek and English -with simultaneous translation- and will be hosted on Monday September 18 at the "Dimitrios Evrigenis" Auditorium of the CIEEL, Ikaron 1 Str., in Kalamaria Thessaloniki.
