The work of political foundations abroad is an integral element of the German foreign and development policy. An internship at the foreign office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in New Delhi, which is covering the whole of India in its work, will provide you with a comprehensive insight into the organisation and the essential fields of activities of an internationally active non-governmental organization. However, the internship cannot replace a regular job, as it primarily serves the acquisition of professional knowledge, skills and abilities. At the end of the internship,   an internship certificate will be issued.

Loyalty, commitment, team orientation and identification with the Christian democratic values represented by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung are essential prerequisites for interns to work in the foreign office in New Delhi. Interns from the fields of political and social science, law, economics and journalism will be given preference in the selection process. A familiarity with the politics, society and economy of South Asia would be an advantage. The work in our small team requires a high degree of commitment, ensuring that the tasks - especially in the context of event preparation and implementation - are diverse and varied.
