Both in India and Germany, a skilled workforce and a developed manufacturing sector are the backbones of inclusive economic growth. In meetings with Members of the Indian Parliament as well as with Representatives from the Indian Industry and experts from related fields of expertise, the delegation lead by Tobias Zech, Member of the German Parliament, will explore possibilities and synergies of a cooperation between India and Germany on the topics of vocational training, skill development, small and medium-sized enterprises and manufacturing. For a mutual understanding of the prospects of a sustained and deepened economic relationship between India and Germany, the delegation will explore means and ways of realizing modes of cooperation in this field through meetings with policy makers and long-standing partners of KAS like the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
