Focus of the Round Table will be on the tensed and strained situation in Afghanistan where elections are due to be held by autumn this year. Nonetheless the ongoing peace negotiations under the direction of the US and without the involvement of the national Government of Afghanistan, the country is suffering from continuous terror attacks and the tense geopolitical situation in Asia.
It is the aim of the discussion to only analyze the current situation in Afghanistan, whereas the consequences for India will be discussed in another Chanakya -Chakra -meeting to be held after the Afghanistan elections most likely.
