Military Objectives and Objects of War: An Uneasy Relationship

The 8th annual international humanitarian law conference will explore the concept of “military objective”, which is foundational to the law governing the conduct of hostilities and the protection of civilians.

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung together with the Hebrew University's Minerva Center for Human Rights and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) examine the regulation of armed conflict and the protection of civilians and humanitarian norms during times of conflict.
