We are pleased to announce the second meeting in the Guest Lecture Series on International Humanitarian Law, sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Prof. Ruth Wedgwood will lecture on: "Fighting Terrorism Within the Law: US Policy against al Qaeda". Prof. Wedgwood is the Director of the International Law and Organizations Program at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and is currently serving as a Member of the United Nations Human Rights Committee. The meeting will take place on May 10, 2006 at 18.00 at the Maiersdorf Faculty Lounge (Hall 405), at the Mt. Scopus campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
