Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is promoting and fostering the equal opportunity of women in all aspects of society. By strengthening the human capacities of women and providing support KAS is offering the bases for sharing the best practices and models for active participating in politics and decision-making processes.
For this purpose Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is organizing a series of trainings for women and party-members in order to encourage them for more political participation and action on a local and regional level. KAS is doing this in cooperation with its partner organization the Eduardo Frei Foundation from the Netherlands.
There will be several trainings for a selected group of women of different party branches/ local municipalities in order to present to them best practices and experiences from other European countries. During the trainings discussions will take place how women can professionalize their work, in order to be candidates for political mandates. The aim is to gather interested women in order to convey a solid knowledge of instruments and methods for starting an active political life inside a party and to increase their professional and personal contribution as a woman to modern politics.
