The forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, the Centre for European Perspective (CEP), and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), which actively participated as a partner in its implementation. Dr. Norbert Eschborn, Director of KAS Croatia-Slovenia, joined former President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, in a two-person panel on the future of the liberal, rules-based international order. The three-day program included interactive workshops, debates, discussions with experienced experts, as well as opportunities for networking and building international friendships. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives and to explore how personal and institutional values shape global policies and decisions. Particular attention was given to the challenges of climate change, conflicting value systems, and practical solutions in international politics. Following the Young BSF, participants also took part in the 20th Bled Strategic Forum under the title “A Runaway World”, where they discussed Europe’s role in the current global context and amid geopolitical uncertainty. The Young Bled Strategic Forum 2025 highlighted the importance of international dialogue among young leaders and reaffirmed the contribution of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation to strengthening cooperation and promoting values in the region.
