Persons with disabilities continue to face barriers to full participation in education, employment, and civic life, often navigating systems that were never designed with them in mind. This forum is designed to close that gap by putting persons with disabilities in the room as leaders and experts, not just as audience members.Across the day, self-advocates, organisations of persons with disability (OPDs), government representatives, employers, educators, and assistive tech builders will exchange directly on where inclusion actually falls short, in hiring, classrooms, healthcare access, and public spaces, and what's worked elsewhere: real hiring process changes, classroom adaptations, footpath redesigns.
You'll leave with a sharper picture of where the barriers sit and real cross-sector connections to help close them.
